IMPORTANT NOTICE: 
On August 31, 2005, the Complaint was dismissed
by the United States District Court. The case is currently being appealed
to the Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. The appellate case No. is 05- 5395.

During the Appeals process, NO NEW PLAINTIFF APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED. 
We will provide adequate public notice when, and if, we resume accepting applications.

Every person wishing to become a Plaintiff needs
to complete a NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT.


There are
TWO versions of the lawsuit Affidavit:



Version 1 is suitable for use by almost everyone.  It indicates your intent to be a named plaintiff and that you have signed one or more of the WTP Petitions citing constitutional abuses by the government.

Version 2 is for use by those that, in addition to the facts attested to in version #1 (above), wish to openly attest that they are adding further expression to, and enforcing their Right to Petition, by withholding monies from the government.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

A.  You must have a properly notarized affidavit on file to be a Plaintiff.

B.  THIS AFFIDAVIT IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT. 
      IT WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE COURT AS PART OF THE LAWSUIT.

C.   BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR ADDRESS !

D.  Affidavits must be signed in the presence of a Notary and certified as such.

E.  PLEASE do not change the standard Affidavit. Those, that for whatever reason, feel the need to modify the standard affidavit, should select one of the text versions above, copy it into a word processor, alter it as deemed appropriate, then notarize and transmit the original to the WTP office.

F.  Remember to cross out or otherwise DELETE references to any Petition you did not Sign.
