1600 See Russo Movie In Chicago
& Ann Arbor
Next Screenings
in NY and NH
This past weekend, Aaron Russo’s movie received enthusiastic ovations from
combined crowds numbering more than 1600.
Last Thursday
evening, “America…From Freedom to Fascism" played at downtown
Chicago’s upscale independent bookstore, Transitions Bookplace. On Friday
night, writer and director Russo personally presented the 4-minute movie trailer to a
packed and energized crowd of 500 at the “Kinetic Playground”, a nightclub
that Russo owned and operated years ago when he was involved with the music
production side of the entertainment industry. It was during this period
that Russo brought the famous rock group Led Zeppelin to America and managed
the career of actress/performer Bette Midler.

On Saturday, Russo’s
film played to about 700 people who gathered at the historic ARCADA Theatre
in Chicago’s
western suburb of St. Charles. Following the showing, Russo was greeted by
throngs of well-wishers thanking him for having the courage to make the
movie and seeking his autograph on the WTP brochures that had been
distributed at the event.
On Sunday, the movie
screened to a full theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where 300 people again
expressed their strong appreciation for the movie. Below are some
pictures from the Chicago event.

Summer Release To Theatres
Is Possible
We
want to remind everyone that WTP is engaged in continuing discussions with
Aaron Russo regarding the potential for the Foundation to play a significant
role in developing a financing and distribution model that will bring this
high-impact film to theaters and living rooms nationwide this summer.
The Foundation has labored long and arduously since 1999, to bring these
issues of constitutional abuse to the attention of the American public and
to secure a remedy to those abuses. Indeed the Foundation’s work forms the
central nexus of, and is showcased by Russo’s documentary.
As we wrote in our last email, we believe this single, fact-filled,
educational documentary about the steady erosion of our Freedoms, if seen by
millions of Americans, has the potential to develop the pro-active,
non-violent, mass movement needed to restore the Constitution.
Proceeding on this premise, the Foundation is asking those that have the
capacity and potential interest in participating with funding the
distribution of this film via a tax-deductible Foundation donation. Please
contact us via our on-line form.
Those having an interest in what may yet be the most exciting, high-profile
and strategically significant project this Foundation has yet to execute
will be contacted once the details regarding the business plan, project
budget, and legal, financial and accounting controls are ready for
examination by potential donors and investors.
“YES,
PLEASE CONTACT ME. I may be interested in making a
tax-deductible financial contribution toward the cost of distributing Aaron Russo’s film,
"America…From Freedom to
Fascism.”

ongoing operations of the Foundation, which include the historic
Right-to-Petition lawsuit, currently under appeal at the United States Court
