Going, Going, Gone is our Democracy, which is why I’m proud to be united with others of ‘We the People’ to restore the Constitution of the United States of America, as well as uphold the Constitution of the State of Vermont. We must do this by monitoring and ensuring that all government officials honor and function according to our Constitutions.
As the State Coordinator for Vermont I pledge as a citizen, patriot and veteran to support those core values that unite us ‘We the People’ under our Constitutions. All are WELCOME TO JOIN under the Stars and Stripes of the U.S. flag and the Vermont slogan “Freedom & Unity”. Neither knows left nor right: only Justice, Tranquility, Welfare and the Blessings of Liberty.
We need to actively PETITION our government officials for REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES under our rights according to our Constitutions:
U.S. Constitution: First Amendment - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Vermont Constitution: 20th Article - Right to assemble, instruct and petition. That the people have a right to assemble together to consult for their common good - to instruct their Representatives - and to apply to the Legislature for redress of grievances, by address, petition or remonstrance.
Welcome to Your Rights to Your Constitutions!!!

I am happy to be aboard as a dues paying supporter. However, I am not optimistic. There are very few cases of the seemingly inexorable and irreversible decline of a republic to empire (or aspirations thereto) to police state. The Romans for sure. The crossing of the Rubicon is usually considered the signal event marking the end of the republic.. The Weimar Republic ended with the Reichstag fire. Its epitaph was the Enabling Act and various other oppresive measures. The American Republic ended on 9/11. (The judicial coup d'etat that put George W. Bush in the White House did not in itself end the republic though it did allow a subversive group called Project for New American Century to seize the reins of governance.) The epitaph for the American Republic was of course the Patriot Act and various other oppresive measures. Today, by an apparently secret process, any citizen can be murdered by executive order. It has happened. Any citizen can by executive order be declared a terrorist and thrown into jail indefinitely without access to lawyer or court reversing a legal concept adopted in the English speaking world in 1215. Torture is rampant.
Yes, lets try to reverse this decline but it is far more than an uphill struggle. War criminals are not prosecuted. Financial criminals are not prosecuted. When we proclaim the superiority of our democratic system we make ourselves a laughingstock. It's not new. See Smedley D. Butler-War Is A Racket. There will be infiltrators. If the movement becomes likely to be successful or at least a thorn in the side of the criminals the infiltrators will become agents provocateurs to discredit the organization.
