Personal agendas reign, lies and inaccuracies are presented as ultimate truth, cover-ups are allowed - when it suits a certain agenda, facts are ignored, etc. Too few people are paying attention, or it wouldn't happen. The problem is, small town politics are following the example of big politics. It's time for a REAL change -either ALL of the documents outlining our founding ideals are wrong and need to be changed, or we need to know them and FOLLOW them. Mass Constitutional education is sorely needed, and ethics needs to be rediscovered.We have been active in the handicapped community, having cared for several elderly and handicapped family members and others. I am trying to further ADA and educate the general public. Personal Statement : It is evident that our government has adopted the role of being the master of the people, rather than the people being the masters. Government was meant to be the servant of the people. There has been a gradual slipping away from the original vision of the likes of Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, and thousands from the generation of the founders. The purpose of the Constitution of the United States was very clearly to protect the individual citizen FROM the power of the government. As people have lost their comprehension of the importance of the Constitution, the politicians have taken advantage at every turn. The educational system has not instructed  students as to the imperative nature of Constitutional adherence and as a result, we are no longer under what can, by any reasonable measure, pass as the rule of law. We are under the rule of clever and despotic politicians who wield a mind control machine of unprecedented effectiveness. It has remonstrated through all the appropriate channels and shown without a doubt that the system is not only broken but hardened against any meaningful reform. Those elected believe they are our leaders, but we did not elect leaders. We elected servants. We selected representatives. They have chosen to abandon their mandate and instead represent the monied intrests against the well being of their constituents. What indeed should a free people do? This is the question that I will contribute my talents, such as they are, to answering. As a true representative of those who select me to attend in their stead, I will be open to all ideas from those who choose me and do my best to voice your concerns and possible solutions. Thank you.   New Hampshire State News 10/21/2009 Three Delegates from NH Selected to Meet at CC2009 Elections were held at Murphy's pub in Manchester, NH on October 10th to vote on a three candidate selection to attend the CC2009 meeting in November 2009. Three candidates were selected with 2 alternates. Rik Humboldt, William Kostric and Rick Harvey were selected as delegates and Donald Fairchild, Bruce Graham as alternates. Let's wish our delegates a safe and productive trip to Chicago next month. If you are a new Regular Member or a new Coordinator the awesome first question is “now what”? First and foremost do not wait for any other person’s “permission”. You now have full permission! We all do. We know that Bob Schulz in good lawyer-like fashion enjoins us to follow the philosophy of ACTA NON VERBA, or in language the rest of us use “Deeds, Not Words”. All of us are caught up in this massive citizen reaction to the increasingly obvious trampling of our Constitution by our so-called “Leaders”. So we are naturally inclined to “verbalize” and to “emote”. It is just natural. And I, probably like yourself, was caught up initially in “venting”, with words-words-words. (in my case to the ho-hum degree … I was starting to bore even myself.) But there comes a time, doesn’t there?, when you realize that it is “just words” and nothing is going to happen out of that! So, you want to “do something”. Thanks to Bob Schulz and the We The People Congress (membership today at 89,081) we have a path to walk upon that should lead us to a good place, and without violence too, unless, of course, violence at some point is thrust upon us. Let’s deal with that when and if we must. For now we need the path that makes sense to walk upon, and we have one, a good one, with WTP. So, as I came to terms with this “volunteer” thing, I discovered a few things that make life a whole lot easier. We now have four distinct tasks or MISSIONS as stated explicitly by Bob in every meeting that he is having, and is still having across this country. Namely: OUTREACH NOMINATING COMMITTEE FUNDING THE NEW HAMPSHIRE DELEGATION REGULAR MEMBERS As I contemplated this challenge I realized that certainly not all of these missions have been converted to “ACTA”. And that is the challenge now. We are all, in a sense, independent agents, and as volunteers we can create our own approaches, and our own actions. Hopefully these will be in concert, and result in mission accomplishment. For starters I realized that I needed some “talking points’ to use for my OUTREACH mission. In my case I talk to people, and I participate by “posting” to other groups. (And I pray a lot!) Well, guess what?, Bob has provided those talking points you need very explicitly. You do not have to make up your own speech. If you will locate the "Summit Call" link on the Convention Updates Page at the WTP main site -- http://www.wethepeoplefoundation.org/default.htm#latestnews -- you will find that it is the “perfect” short speech outline! It is short, it is sweet, and it underscores exactly what the “problem” is. So, I am using that to be my own “talking points” for group speaking. Apart from what is on that page I also insert some of my own personal experiences of being basically “beaten up” by all these “departures from the rules” and Constitutional Violations. Believe me, when you look at it, this has beaten EVERYONE up. That leads to the WTP regular memberships, and then I also create an opportunity for others who are listening to participate by expressing themselves and their hot buttons. By just doing this much, I expect for every talk any one of us gives REGULAR MEMBERS will continue to emerge. Dependable “self-motivated” regulars. Fellow Patriots and fighters. So there you have OUTREACH and REGULAR MEMBERS missions being accomplished. As for NOMINATING COMMITTEE and FUNDING THE NEW HAMPSHIRE DELEGATION we are still looking around at what we really need to do. I think Bob is as well, and as we go along these missions will evolve their own methods. For now the nominee process is open and available to everyone at the WTP site. As for right now, this very day! …Getting out there – Outreach - promotes Regular Membership, and that is the kind of membership that gives real muscle to the national efforts. And don’t let membership in WTP stop you from participating with the patriot groups of your choice whose issues are closest to your heart. Bob Schulz makes the point that we at WTP do not dabble in “Politics”. Our focus is entirely upon conformance to the Constitution. But that doesn’t means we are not individually political, and that is what makes the horserace, isn’t it? But for WTP we keep the light on the Constitution that protects us all. (Or, was supposed to anyway before all this stuff happened.) OUTREACH (and you can use the Summit Call as written to do that), and REGULAR MEMBERS (hopefully the direct result of our OUTREACH. WTP is still a developing and fluid thing. Do get jiggly with all this, and let me know if I can help you directly. Rick Newington 1/24/2009 New Hampshire Patriots join with ME, MA, NY, and CT Patriots at Concord MA 20090124 1pm to 5 pm NEWS The New Hampshire team gathered at the Colonial Inn in Concord MA, along with numerous other patriots from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, and New York. Turnout was great as Bob Schulz explained the principles and the work behind the WTP Congress and Foundation. Bob specifically addressed the exciting upcoming national Convention CC2009. The group got into a broad discussion of the WTP principles – notably steering clear of “politics” in favor of a strict focus upon the Constitution itself, and the creating of an “institutionalized Vigilance" – and the opportunities ahead for strengthening adherence by the U.S. Government to our Constitution. The NH Patriots included: Balentine Button Domenico Harvey Humboldt Kostvic OBrien Olson Schmidt Traffie Wernette Bob has challenged the NH group to focus on some very important near term objectives including: OUTREACH TO OTHER PATRIOTIC GROUPS TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF WTP FORMING A NOMINATING COMMITTEE, WHICH AT PRESENT CONSISTS OF AT LEAST THOSE LISTED ABOVE FUND RAISING, SOME OF WHICH WAS ACCOMPLISHED IMMEDIATELY BY RICK HUMBOLDT RIGHT ON THE SPOT TO HELP COVER THE MEETING EXPENSES, AND GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS WERE EVIDENT “IN THE HAT” PROMOTING REGULAR MEMBERSHIPS IN WTP CONGRESS. This was an inspiring event especially in view of the fact that it was held in the Old Colonial Inn (1716) in Concord, MA, probably in the same meeting areas where our forefathers had similar meetings when times were different, but some of the issues were exactly the same! It was a distinct privilege to attend with this group, and it was an important organizing meeting which will lead us to the upcoming Continental Convention. The Convention will host 150 delegates (three selected by their peers from each state) from all over the USA for a 2 weeks to one month 24/7 convention to discuss the way forward for WTP. God bless Bob Schulz and his wife Judy who are so inspiring to the Freedom and Liberty movement, and who are so generously contributing their time, knowledge, expertise, and leadership to the cause. At the conclusion Bob was packing up for a long through the night drive to the next event in Pennsylvania. He and Judy have been “on the road" since December in his selfless quest to assure that “institutionalized vigilance” will be a fact in our lifetimes. He reported that Colorado and Arizona had particularly impressed him with the intense interest in WTP. This appears to be an idea whose time has come.
