This page lists procedures to perform various important tasks on this website.

1.  How to Join the WTP Congress

  1. Go to the opening page at http://givemeliberty.org.
  2. Click in the upper left corner on "Join WTP Congress".
  3. Read the page completely.
  4. Click on one of the options presented.  This will take you to the store screen.
  5. Click on "Add to cart" button.  This will take you to the Shopping Cart screen.
  6. Review the order and click "Checkout".  You will then be presented with the Account information screen.
  7. Fill in the "Account Information" section.  This is the username and password you will use again in the future to login to the site and the community.
  8. Fill in the "Additional Information" section.  This is the information that will appear on your Member Profile within our community.   Mandatory fields have a red asterisk next to them.  Other fields are optional.
  9. Click on the "Continue" button at the bottom of the form.  This will bring up the Confirm and Pay screen. 
  10. In the lower right corner:
    10.1  Select "WTP Congress" in the drop down list...then
    10.2  Click on the "Confirm My Order" button.
  11. Enter your credit card information.
  12. At the bottom of the screen, check "Automatically charge me renewal costs."
  13. Click on "Confirm My Order" button at the bottom of the screen.
  14. You will then receive two emails:
    14.1.  An order confirmation from info@givemeliberty.org.
    14.2   An order confirmation from Authorize.net.

2.  How to Sign into the WTP Forums

  1. Go to the opening page at http://givemeliberty.org.
  2. Click on "Forums" in the menu on top.
  3. In the upper right corner, click "Sign in".
  4. Enter your username and password.
  5. Click the "Sign in" button.

3.  How to Post Forum Topics

  1. Go to the opening page at http://givemeliberty.org.
  2. Click on "Forums" in the menu on top.
  3. Sign in if you are not already signed in.  This is covered in section 2 above.
  4. Locate the forum category that you want to post the item in and click on it.
  5. Click on the "Start New Topic" button in the upper right corner.
  6. Enter the "Topic Title" for the post.
  7. Enter the "Topic Tags".  These are the subject matters that the post is about.
  8. Enter the text for the post.
  9. Click the "Post New Topic" button on the bottom of the screen.

4.  How to Review Forums

  1. Go to the opening page at http://givemeliberty.org.
  2. Click on "Forums" in the menu on top.
  3. Sign in if you are not already signed in.  This is covered in section 2 above.
  4. Scan through the list of forum categories.  Categories with new content posted since your last login will appear in dark blue instead of gray.  These are items you have not yet read.
  5. Click on each unread item and read it.
  6. After you have read the item, it will turn grey.
  7. If you want to mark all Forum content as read, go to the lower left corner and click "Mark Community Read".

4.  How to Assign Positions from the Forums

  1. Go to the opening page at http://givemeliberty.org.
  2. Click on "Forums" in the menu on top.
  3. Sign in if you are not already signed in.  This is covered in section 2 above.
  4. In the upper left corner, click on the "AdminCP" button.  The Administrator Control Panel will appear.
  5. Hover over "Members" in the menu at the top and select "Manage Members".  The Members list will appear.  The most recently joined members will be at the top.
  6. Click on the member you want to edit.
  7. On the Basic Information tab, click on all the secondary groups the person is a member of.
  8. Click "Save Member" button at the bottom of the screen.
  9. Click on the top on the "Profile" tab.
  10. Go to the section with all the appointments.
  11. Click "Save Member" button at the bottom.
  12. Click on all the positions the person is appointed to.
  13. Click on the "Forum Details & Restrictions" tab at the top.
  14. If the member is a State Coordinator, go to the "Override group permission masks with..." field and click on the state that the person is a coordinator for.
  15. Click "Save Member" button at the bottom.
