The First Amendment Right to Petition

WE THE PEOPLE FOUNDATION FOR CONSTITUTIONAL EDUCATION:
FIRST AMENDMENT PETITIONS FOR REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES REGARDING VIOLATIONS OF THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The following Petitions for Redress of Grievances for violations of the Constitution were first served on the federal Government in November, 2002, and twice thereafter in 2008.

We the People Foundation established a professional standard for Petitioning the Executive and Legislative branches and had the foresight to try to stop the violations before their effects could devastate America.

The Petitions were served on the President, every member of Congress and the Attorney General.  To date, there has been no response

The Petitions therefore stand as a crucial historical Record for the Free People of America, as our Nation now faces the devastating effects of the violations.

After years of seeking a response from government and getting none, We The People Foundation considered 2009, moving forward, a “post-Petition” era, i.e. there was no point Serving Petitions when the government was not responding and not enough Freedom-loving People were awake to peacefully enforce their Rights.

This led the organization to conceive of and host the Continental Congress in November of  2009, a gathering of 116 citizen-delegates from all states except Oklahoma and North Dakota, who met round the clock for eleven days to discuss fourteen violations of the Constitution and solutions which would restore constitutional governance in America.

The Work of the Continental Congress is called “Articles of Freedom” (www.ArticlesOfFreedom.us) and include, not Petitions for Redress, but Remedial Instructions to Congress and the States designed to stop the violations. The document represents the ONLY PLAN of its kind in America today.

The Petitions you see here were carefully researched and the information factual through June, 2008.

In addition to these Petitions, We the People Foundation petitioned the judicial branch in an attempt to remedy the following additional violations:

1995 - Bailout of the Mexican Peso without a Congressional appropriation- violation of the Money Clauses of the Constitution;
1999 - Bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia without a Congressional Authorization -  War Powers Clauses of the Constitution;
2008 - $85 Billion Bailout of AIG and $700 Billion of the Financial Institutions - without constitutional authorization whatsoever;
2007-ongoing - Counting Votes in Secret - lawsuit to prohibit electronic vote counting systems that violate an individual's Right to Know his vote is being accurately counted without special expert knowledge;

Because of the greater Freedom movement that exists in America now, We The People Foundation is hopeful that 2011 may bring renewed focus on the Right to Petition and that there may finally be enough People awake who care, to insist the Right be acknowledged and restored, along with a viable process at both the federal and state levels.
