Just hours after being publicly released, over 4000 signatures from all 50 states have already been affixed to the WTP petitions for redress of grievances concerning the federal income tax fraud, the Federal Reserve, the War Powers clauses and the "USA Patriot Act".

Remember – these petitions will have maximum political effect only if every single congressional district has constituents that have signed them. Please make an extra effort this weekend to get these petitions to everyone you can. Our numbers will speak for themselves. We will be delivering these petitions to Washington the first week of November.

Remember to tell people you contact about this to know that this organization is not "anti-government" or "anti-war". We are about defending the piece of paper called the Constitution. This "piece of paper" cannot defend itself and is critical to us as a free People because it defines our form of government and limits the power that We The People have granted it. We are "pro-Constitution."

A number of people experienced problems with the passwords required to sign the petitions. The largest problem encountered appears to be retyping the password into the password field. To avoid this problem, simply "copy and paste" the password from the e-mail you receive during the petition signing process into the "sign-in" form.

Producers of Public Broadcasting System’s (PBS) show, "The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer" are currently considering hosting a televised debate with We The People legal experts concerning the income tax fraud and other violations being committed against our Constitution. Ostensibly, government officials and tax industry professionals would be on the opposite side of the debate.

As with most things, these decisions are directly influenced by the amount of interest shown by potential viewers to such a show. They use extrapolations of the interest shown to estimate audience size and to focus broadcast content.

With that said, we now ask everyone to directly contact the producers of the Jim Lehrer show. Tell them you want to see Bob Schulz and our other tax and constitutional experts debate those that would violate our Constitution and those from IRS and DOJ that refuse to publicly establish the legal authority for the income tax.

Tell them you want the media to directly ask the government -- on the air -- WHY they refuse to answer our specific, well documented legal charges on critical matters of law, taxation and our Constitutionally protected rights? Why does the government refuse to respond to our proper petitions for redress of grievances even though they are required to under the 1^st Amendment?

How can Congress "give" the power to go to war to the President even though the Constitution explicitly requires a formal Declaration of War by Congress – not a "resolution" showing support? How can Congress pass a piece of Legislation such as the "USA Patriot Act" that plainly violates our Constitutional rights?

Why is the dominant media ignoring these stories?

Tell Jim Lehrer that there are MILLIONS of Americans -- just like you -- that would flock to his show if he substantively tackled topics like this.  These are the REAL news stories.

These are the real battles for freedom -- and they won’t be found in government or corporate press releases. These contests are being waged outside the view of the dominant network news cameras and oblivious to the editors of this nation’s major newspapers and news magazines.

Tell Jim Lehrer that you are not "anti-government" or "anti-war", but the real risks posed to this nation come not from foreign terrorists -- but a government that refuses to abide by our written Constitution. We are "pro-Constitution."

The future of this nation depends on the People learning and deliberating on these matters. Tell PBS to put the facts and the controversy out on the air and let their viewers decide what is truth. Let the debate begin!
