Updated NOV-2005 IMPORTANT NOTICE: On August 31, 2005, the Complaint was dismissed by the United States District Court. The case is currently being appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. The appellate case No. is 05- 5395. During the Appeals process, NO NEW PLAINTIFF APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED. We will provide adequate public notice when, and if, we resume accepting applications. Updated OCT-20-04 IMPORTANT CHANGE: On September 16, 2004, the Complaint was amended. A significant aspect of that amendment was the addition of approximately 2,000 "named" Plaintiffs to the lawsuit. Also as part of that amendment and the evolving legal strategy for the case, the "class-action" aspect of the case has been deleted. The case is now proceeding with thousands of named Plaintiffs, rather than waiting for the court to certify a plaintiff "class." To participate as a named plaintiff, please follow the instructions & procedure immediately below Remember, there is NO cost to become, or participate as a Plaintiff. ALL Plaintiffs are represented by the Mark Lane law firm. Once a Plaintiff, you should not need not appear in Court or otherwise file any papers. NOTE: As a named Plaintiff, your name and address will appear in some court filings. The lawsuit is being funded solely by the We The People Foundation through donations. PROCEDURE: IF YOU WISH TO BECOME A "NAMED PLAINTIFF" COMPLETE THE STEPS BELOW: 1) READ the Amended COMPLAINT ( in Adobe .pdf format, please RIGHT-Click to download) 2) READ the Preliminary STATEMENT of the Case 3) READ & SIGN the PETITIONS for Redress of Grievances. 4) READ the July, 2004 LETTER from the lawsuit attorney Mark Lane
