Bob Invites You to Stop By

 or Help a Little Bit

Bob has extended an invitation for you to visit and/or help him if you are in the D.C. area.

He could use some assistance distributing handouts / flyers to the crowd and just engaging the tourists and workers in the area.  Also -- the more of a presence we have the more of an impact we will make. He would love to see all of us there.  

Starting Thursday 7/5, he will be parked just off the Washington Monument area by Constitution Avenue.  This is just a block or so away from both the White House and the IRS headquarters.  He is driving a white conversion van trailing the large banner signs behind.  You can't miss it!

He should be at this location for most of the fast.  Bob will be speaking in California at the Tax Freedom Convention on the weekend of  July 14th & 15th.  Other stops on the eastern seaboard are currently being considered.  (We will keep you posted of these).  

You can imagine both the physical and mental challenges Bob faces.  If you work or live in the area please stop by and give Bob your thoughts & words of encouragement.

We are also looking for a number of volunteers in the D.C. area who could commit to and spend a more full day or so with Bob (& Roland) during the daylight and evening hours.  As the fast continues it will be harder for Bob to maintain even normal levels of physical activity.  Bob is doing the hard part -- hopefully some of us can help pitch in a few hours here or there.  These volunteers would help run errands, work the crowd, drive, etc. Please contact bob@givemeliberty.org if you can help.
