| 2-02-03 Help Wanted: Attorneys and Legal Assistants for WTP-LDA As announced, the We The People Legal Defense Association (WTP-LDA) is being organized near Washington DC as a non-profit, public interest organization established to protect, preserve and enhance the People’s individual, unalienable Rights, particularly the Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances and the Right of "Redress Before Taxes," which are guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. Through annual memberships, WTP-LDA will be united in service together through tens of thousands of individuals, corporations and associations, providing a unified and uniform voice when and where it is needed to secure these Rights. Initially, WTP-LDA will represent member corporations that have, or
intend to, cease wage withholding of all federal taxes from their employees’
paychecks and persons that have, or intend to, stop filing federal tax
returns and/or cease the payment of any alleged federal income taxes, in
order to secure their Rights. These association members will continue their civil action unless, and until, the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government respond to the four Petitions for Redress that were served on each member of Congress and the President in November, 2002. WTP-LDA’s legal strategy will rest primarily on: 1) The exercise of and defense of the unalienable, unconditional, constitutionally-guaranteed Rights to Petition for Redress of Grievances and Redress Before (paying) Taxes, and 2) the specific Causes of Action and Statements of Fact developed by the We The People organization. Besides the First Amendment based claims, these causes of action and supporting facts definitively assert that the federal income tax laws are without bona fide legal authority, are unenforceable against the People, and are administered in a manner grossly repugnant to the Peoples’ Constitutionally protected rights.Each applicant should study, understand, agree with, and be prepared to advocate aggressively for WTP-LDA on the principles and legal positions we have developed regarding constitutional government and the income tax. We are building a team of patriotic attorneys with exceptional intellect, subject matter expertise (or high aptitude), integrity and courage. They must have a strong heart for our cause. WTP-LDA membership will be open to most corporations and individuals, whether or not any state or federal authorities have contacted them. WTP-LDA will advocate on the legal front by fully representing members at every stage of the proceedings: legal/educational consultation by letter and phone; direct representation with tax officials; and court proceedings if necessary. WTP-LDA will also take the offensive, filing actions to protect members against government intrusion and to establish legal precedent. On occasion, WTP-LDA will handle precedent-setting cases for non-members, as well. With a multi-million dollar budget, WTP-LDA intends to immediately begin hiring and/or retaining the services of attorneys and qualified legal assistants, and to associate with like-minded attorneys throughout the United States, to represent and assist its members. Relocation to the Washington, DC area is desirable, but is not a prerequisite. WTP-LDA will also entertain proposals from attorneys for "on-call" relationships.
