SYMPOSIUM HELD TO DEBATE LEGALITY OF INCOME AND SOCIAL SECURITY TAXES GOVERNMENT SENDS NO ONE TO REFUTE THE ALLEGATIONS OF ILLEGALITY BROADCASTED LIVE ON C-SPAN2
The "Are the Income and Social Security Taxes Legal?" symposium was held on July 1-2 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The event was sponsored by the We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education as an informational and educational undertaking in order to examine all sides of the question. It was hosted by Robert L. Schulz, chairman of the Foundation and former Albany, NY, radio talk-show host. Several invited participants gave presentations discussing their research and evidence for their claims that the income and social security taxes are illegal. The government did not respond to repeated invitations to send representatives to refute or debate the charges. C-SPAN was present on the second day of the symposium (Friday, July 2nd) to broadcast it live for over 3.5 hours on C-SPAN2. It was replayed that evening during prime time and again on Tuesday morning, July 6th, at 10:00 am. We have had many, many e-mails, letters, and faxes from people all over the country inquiring about what happened at the symposium, expressing interest in becoming involved, and wondering what's next. The following will provide some of the information requested (bear with us, some pages are under construction). We will continue to add more information as the days go by, so keep checking in with us.
